Health Update on Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann

On Friday evening, Bhagwant Mann, the Chief Minister of Punjab, was admitted to the hospital after experiencing fatigue and a drop in heart rate. This information was confirmed by the hospital located in Mohali.

According to the statement from the hospital, upon arrival, Mann, who is 51 years old, underwent tests to assess his vital organs, and his condition is currently stable. The hospital's announcement stated, 'Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was brought to Fortis Hospital in Mohali due to complaints of exhaustion and decreased heart rate. Upon his arrival, his vital signs were monitored, and he is now in stable condition.'

The report further indicated that Mann is under observation, and there has been an improvement in his pulse rate. The statement added, 'Our medical team is continuously monitoring his condition.'

Sources previously mentioned that Mann had been suffering from viral fever. It was reported that when there was no improvement in his health by the evening, he was taken to Fortis Hospital in Mohali.

Following the news of his health issues, Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), visited Mann's official residence on Thursday to inquire about his well-being.

Kejriwal had arrived in Punjab on Wednesday evening to assess the flood situation and was initially scheduled to tour the affected areas with the Chief Minister. However, due to Mann's absence, Kejriwal proceeded to visit flood-affected regions in Sultanpur Lodhi, Kapurthala district.
